The annual CNLA Summer Field Day draws industry professionals from all over Connecticut and surrounding states. This event will provide your company an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your products, explain your services and interact with green industry professionals. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to network with professionals in your area! The deadline to register a booth is July 4, 2022. Booths are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Please note that your application will not be considered complete until we have received your payment. All fees are non-refundable. The exhibitor fee includes a table, chair, and 1 registration.

9:30 am – 2:00 pm ~ Prides Corner Full Farm Riding Tour (available all day)
Take a ride over the rolling terrain of Lebanon, CT for a full view of the 350 acre Prides Corner Farms Lebanon facility. This 45 minute tour will travel through the (3) farms that make up Prides Corner including the Alba Farm, home to containerized trees and a myriad of Hydrangea, the Main Farm featuring macrophylla Hydrangea, needled and broadleaf evergreens along with perennials, and the Emmons Farm, home to loads of deciduous shrubs and roses. Prides Corner experts will fill you in on growing facts and will be available to answer all questions.

A brief report of prominent diseases affecting nursery and landscape plants observed in the past year at the UConn Plant Diagnostic Lab as well as emerging diseases to be on the lookout for in the upcoming year. Integrated Pest Management principles and techniques to mitigate impact and occurrence of diseases will be discussed throughout.

The Prides Corner team is excited to show off our newest facility to our CNLA colleagues! Take a walk through our just opened, high tech, 2 acre, gutter connect propagation facility. Our propagation and grower support teams will reveal the magic of this brilliant glass greenhouse structure and its enclosed tissue culture lab, the biggest of its kind in the northeast. This tour will be a dazzling opportunity to see the most advanced techniques in plant propagation on display!

Prides Corner is really a logistics company shipping millions of plants to our customers each year. See how it all happens on this whirlwind walking tour of the Prides Corner shipping facility. This eye opening journey will give you the basics of our Lean Flow shipping system, from how plants arrive from the field and our remote growing locations, to how they are precisely staged, shopped, tagged and, finally, loaded onto trucks. Don’t miss this chance to see our state of the art shipping facility in action!

The program will share tips and knowledge about how Prides Corner prunes certain genera of plants to get the best quality for retail and landscape. He will also point out differences between pruning for production vs pruning at home or retail.
