2025 Winter Symposium Recap

What a way to start off 2025! The frigid temperatures didn’t keep our members away from our newly revamped Winter Symposium! We had over 350 attendees brave the single digits to join us. One day of programing, three dedicated education tracks, and live Spanish translations were all new this year! Specialized programing was presented for growers, garden centers, and landscapers, with a leadership keynote provided by Jones Loflin on A More Natural Way to Lead. We want to thank all of our presenters for taking the time to speak with our members and recognize the efforts of the hardworking CNLA Winter Symposium Committee who put this event together.

During the CNLA Annual Meeting, we were proud to present Brandon Hyde with the CNLA Award of Merit, and recognize Kyle Roller for his years of service on the CNLA Board of Directors. Dawn Pettinelli was honored for her many years as a CCH (formerly CANP) instructor. The 2024 CCH Graduates were recognized and awarded their CCH certificates and pins. A new board of directors was voted in for 2025 with Chris Valley, CCH, as President, Matt Fitzpatrick, CCH, as Vice President, Amanda Pezzullo, CCH as Secretary/Treasurer, Dustyn Nelson, CCH, as Immediate Past President, and Chris Goodwin, Cecilia Keneally, Bill Palmer, CCH, as Directors.
